ABOUT US

CADISS

The Council of African & Diasporic Indigenous Spiritual Systems. Founded with a vision to champion the recognition and inclusion of African Indigenous Spirituality on a global scale, CADISS stands as a beacon of cultural preservation, advocacy, and community empowerment.

our Resolve

In a world where religious tolerance is celebrated as a cornerstone of diversity and inclusion, it is disheartening that African Indigenous Spirituality and its Diasporic derivatives continue to be marginalised. At CADISS, we believe that every spiritual tradition deserves respect, recognition, and protection under the law.

Our Mission

To uphold the Equality Act of 2010 and Article 9 of the Human Rights Act of 1998, advocating for the rightful place of African spiritual traditions alongside other world faiths. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we strive to promote understanding, respect, and appreciation for African spiritual heritage.

Our Initiatives

From educational workshops and cultural events to legal advocacy and consultation services, CADISS offers a diverse range of initiatives designed to empower individuals, foster community connections, and preserve our ancestral traditions for generations to come. Our organization is dedicated to promoting understanding, respect, and appreciation for African Indigenous Spirituality on a global scale.

In addition to our range of initiatives, CADISS provides a comprehensive directory for practitioners of African spiritualism and vendors, facilitating connections and fostering collaboration within our community. This directory serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking guidance, support, and connections within the African spiritual community, promoting unity and mutual support among practitioners and vendors alike.

Join us in our journey to celebrate and elevate African Indigenous Spirituality. Together, we can create a world where all spiritual traditions are recognised, respected and celebrated
